Writing 220: It's Not About Putting a Ring on It
LHSP 125: The Ring

This was the first long length essay project that I wrote for my intro writing class LHSP 125-The Madness of Art. We were each assigned to study one object from a variety of angles. I chose the ring.

For my writing minor gateway course, we were tasked with taking a piece of writing that we had done before, and re-purpose it. I took my essay The Ring, and re-purposed it as a Feminist article about the wedding ring and it's connotations in society.

For my Russian literature class, I wrote a character study about Mikhail Lermontov's A Hero of Our Time's main character: Pechorin.

This is a research essay about the Axe Apollo commercials and the problems of gender portryals and what it was implying through its depictions of women.

For my Ethos and New Media class, we were asked to write or construct four intentional selfies that depicted persuasion, good character, intelligence, and discursive formation.

In the beginning of the semester, we wrote a reflection essay about our stories as writers and how we have grown over the course of our four years in college.
